About me:
To me birding is meditative and I forget the rest of the world when I am out in nature. I have been leading birding tours since the last fifteen years and specialize in the endemic birds of the western ghats where I live and bird everyday. I can be found at my websites www.coorgbirding.com and www.indiabirding.com. I like to use innovative technologies to find birds especially the nocturnal ones. I bird largely by ear and can identify the call of every bird in South India. I am a trained naturalist and a seasoned wildlife photographer whose work has been featured in many books.
