About me:
A graduate electrical Engineer who worked for corporate bodies and started full-fledged birding thereafter. His interest in natural history started in his college days, back in 2004. His active involvement in birding across the eastern Himalayas for the past two decades, especially in the Sikkim landscape, has helped to add inquisitive people from different strata to the birding forums. He and his wife are the proprietors of a tour company called "Sikkim Birds Tours & Travels" that conducts birdwatching tours in the Sikkim Himalayas and the agency also disburses funds for philanthropic purposes, such as conducting nature awareness programs and bird walks across the state. He and his team of bird guides have recorded many birds from the Sikkim Himalayas, most of which are considered "first records" from the state. Cooperatively, this team of birders in the state has stimulated interest in multiple individuals, leading a major shift in conservation and birding efforts in the state.
