About me:
Keen but not obsessed world birder, aiming to see all families (13 to go) alongside more pittas, broadbills, rollers, gulls, waders, bustards, sandgrouse, tubenoses etc and having great experiences along the way. Former butterfly recorder in the UK with a love of many insect groups. Favourite birding continent is Asia but Africa comes close for mammals. Neglected neotropics over the decades and starting to put that right. Still have that joy showing people birds and wildlife.
