Best conditions for seawatching on Wangerooge (and the german bay in general) is with strong NW winds. But in general every wind direction can be interesting, there is always something to see.

Best spot is direct behind the swimming bath. There you have the best protection from weather. With lower winds you can watch from everywhere at the Kurpromenade.

By walking or cycling. Just go the main beach direction north. The last "road" with some restaurants is the so called Kurpromenade. From there you can start watching. If you doesn't like all the people around, you can go further east and count from the beach.
