Spring and fall migration are the most spectacular times of year. On very good days you might be able to see 60+ species. Winter and late fall/early spring can be good for waterfoul and sparrows. Morning is the best time but the evening is good too. Every spring and fall the local Audubon chapter (mountainteer audubon) hosts bird walks with local guides and those are always fun.

Give recommendations for making your visit as productive as possible.
This may include for instance:
• best season
• best time of the day
• how much time to spend at the site
• best means of locomotion within the site
• recommended routes / areas within the site
• guiding
