Serengeti national park covering an area of 14763 sq km ,is undoubtedly the most spectacular wildlife sanctuaries on earth.Known for its large number of wildebeest migration which is the biggest overland migration on earth it is one of the natural wonders of our world and a UNESCO world heritage site.The vast plains teeming with short trees,woodlands,kopjes and gallery forest it is home to both migrant and resident bird species,A checklist of 650 birds have been recorded in the park which some of this are migrants.Extremely rare birds,endemics and near endemics are found here,like the endemic grey-breasted spurfowl,near endemic rufous tailed weaver,karamoja apalis,endemic Fischer's and yellow-collared love birds and many more
