  • How to get there

If you are driving from the city centre along the arusha -dodoma road just on your left on Aim mall is mawala road,follow that road till you are afew metres past kirenga gardens then take a left turn ,you can start birding from there following that dirty road

if you are using public transport,use the kisongo minibuses get dropped at Tanapa HQ,take the mawala road on your left and start birding from there

Olasiti minibuses can also be used from the city centre if you dont want to bird the mawala and the burka plantations areas

No entry permits are needed to bird here once you have settled everything with your guide .what you need is to pay a guiding fee for your guide
