This location is almost exclusively birded during the winter. The main targets are waterbirds (loons, grebes, ducks, and gulls). Most winters there are good numbers of diving ducks, sometimes forming rafts of hundreds or thousands of ducks. Most winters, at least one scoter species shows up, and Pacific Loons are becoming more regular as well.
