Lick Creek Park is a large city park most birded in the spring, for its migrants. Mornings are the best time to bird here.  The hummingbird feeders here are well taken care of and attract Ruby-throated, Rufous, and Black-chinned Hummingbirds in the fall.  Summer breeding birds include White-eyed Vireos, Painted Buntings, and Swainson's Warblers.
